Bull Shark on the River Pup Rig – Brisbane River
On 13 June 2026, this 1.4 metre bull shark was caught in the Brisbane River on a Lets Trot Fishing River Pup Rig.
The River Pup is our lighter, castable shark rig, and this catch was another solid real-world test of the setup. The rig handled the Brisbane River bull comfortably from hookup through to landing.
After a couple of quick photos, the shark was safely released back into the Brisbane River.
Catch. Photo. Release. Let’s Trot.
