Late on the night of 11 July 2026, we landed this impressive 2.45 metre shark boatside on a Lets Trot Fishing River Bull Rig. It appeared to be either a common blacktip or another whaler species, so we’re leaving the exact identification open. At 2.45 metres it was a cracking shark and we were absolutely stoked to get it alongside the boat. Another proper test for the River Bull Rig under real fishing conditions.
