Another successful night on the Brisbane River, with Drew and Harrison landing a bull shark each at around 7:00 pm — both caught using the Lets Trot Fishing River Pup Rig.

The river produced after dark, with both sharks giving us some good action beside the boat before coming aboard for a quick photo.
River Pup Rig Produces Again
Both bull sharks were taken on the Lets Trot Fishing River Pup Rig, adding another two catches to the growing list of sharks landed on the setup.

The River Pup is our lighter castable shark rig, designed for targeting bull sharks and other river sharks. These are the same rigs we sell through Lets Trot Fishing, and we’re continually putting them to the test on real Brisbane River sharks.
Drew got one on the board, followed by Harrison with another little Brisbane River bull — another solid night for the River Pup.
With the warmer months approaching, we’re expecting the Brisbane River bull shark action to continue building. We’ll be putting plenty more River Pup rigs in the water as the season heats up.
Two bull sharks, two anglers, one night — both landed on the River Pup Rig.
Both sharks were handled quickly, photographed and released back into the Brisbane River to fight another day.
We’ll keep fishing, testing the gear we sell and documenting the catches here on the Lets Trot Fishing Shark Catch Log.
