Another solid session on the Gold Coast with two quality sharks landed by Andrew and Noah.
Andrew landed a 2.5m whaler shark after it took a mulloway head fished on the Lets Trot Fishing River Bull Rig with a 20/0 hook.
Noah followed up with a 1.82m bull shark on half a bream, using the exact same River Bull Rig and 20/0 hook.
This particular River Bull Rig has now accounted for at least six or seven sharks and is still going strong. Rather than swapping it out after each catch, we’ve continued fishing the same rig session after session, putting it through real-world testing on everything from bull sharks to larger whalers.
Both sharks were brought in for a quick photo and check over before being released back into the water.
