Built for Bigger Sharks
The River Bull is the heavier-duty step up from our River Pup Shark Rig, built for anglers who want increased strength throughout the leader system when targeting larger sharks.
The 2.5 mm mono top shot rated to 650 lb provides serious strength while giving you a thick, comfortable leader for hand-leading and controlling sharks beside the boat or on the bank.
The 730 lb red coated 7×7 stainless bite wire provides a heavy-duty bite section designed to handle the abrasion and punishment that comes with larger sharks, while remaining flexible enough for live bait fishing.
The reinforced Flemish-twist section adds additional protection in the high-abrasion area where the leader is most likely to come into contact with a shark’s teeth during the fight.
Heavy-duty 6/0 crane swivels rated to 638 lb provide strong connections throughout the main rig, while the 2/0 running swivel rated to 286 lb allows for running sinker and breakaway setups.
Built for anglers who want a serious river shark rig without going all the way to an oversized land-based game setup.
